A one hour public question and answer period about the proposed Hamblen County Justice Center Project is scheduled following the regular County Commission Committee meetings Monday, July 12 in the large courtroom at the courthouse. The Committee meetings start at 5:30 p.m.
The Tennessee State Disc Golf Championship Tournament is this weekend in Hamblen County! Course locations include Cherokee Park, Frank Lorino Park, Wayne Hansard Park, and Panther Creek Park. Dates of play are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Final Championship Round). 566 golfers are registered from 24 states - largest tournament in history of event!
