The Hamblen County Finance Department is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Manager. This is an accounting position that is responsible for the coordination of accounts payable activities for all Hamblen County Government offices and requires close attention to detail.
Activities associated with the job include paying invoices for all the county offices, entering data into the county computer system, creating vendor files, filing invoices after payment, maintaining detailed accounting records that are subject to audit, and other administrative activities in the Finance Department when required.
Minimum qualifications include an associate degree and/or previous experience in accounts payable. An accounting background, Microsoft experience, and experience dealing with local government is preferred.
Starting pay range: $32,000-$34,000 DOE, with full-time benefits.
