Notice is hereby given that the Hamblen County Legislative Body will meet in Executive Session at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the Small Courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse, located at 511 West Second North Street, Morristown, Tennessee 37814. This meeting will be closed to the public for the purpose of discussing pending litigation with legal counsel.

Immediately thereafter, at 5:30 p.m., the Hamblen County Legislative Body will convene a Special Called Commission Meeting, which will be open to the public, in the Large Courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse, located at 511 West Second North Street, Morristown, Tennessee 37814. The purpose of the Special Called Commission Meeting is to deliberate and take any action deemed necessary regarding the pending litigation discussed during the Executive Session.
