The Public Hearing on the Rezoning Appeals Request from MAC Materials, Inc., which was scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026 in the large courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse at 5:00 p.m. has been CANCELLED.  See below for Public Notice Posted.

The Hamblen County Board of Commissioners will NOT conduct  an open public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in the large courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse as previously published on February 20, 2026. The Public Hearing was published for a  Rezoning Request for District 04, Tax Map 044, Parcel 010.00, 3390 Chucky River Road, Morristown, TN  37813, from A-1 (Agricultural) to I-1 (Industrial) for proposed use of a Rock Quarry and the hearing has been canceled.
