County Garbage Collection for Juneteenth Holiday

The Hamblen County Garbage Department will observe Juneteenth on Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Normal Collection Day Make-Up Collection Day
Friday, June 19, 2026 Monday, June 22, 2026

If your normal collection day is Friday, June 19th please place your garbage and recyclables at your normal location by 6:00am on Monday, June 22nd and leave there until it is collected.

Operating hours for the Highway and Garbage Departments:
Mon-Thurs – 7:00am – 4:30pm
Friday – 7:00am – 11:00am
