Planning & Zoning

The Hamblen County Planning Commission will hold monthly workshops at 4:00pm in the Small Courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse immediately prior to the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meetings.  The meeting schedule can be found here.

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has closed their local office.  Septic system inquiries and permit requests should be directed to the TDEC representative: Brian Murphy at 423-736-2888 or brian.murphy@tn.gov.  The Knoxville TDEC office can be reached at 865-594-6035.
