County Garbage Collection for New Year’s Day Holiday

The Hamblen County Garbage Department will observe New Year’s Day on Thursday, January 1st, 2026.

Normal Collection Day Make-Up Collection Day
Thursday, January 1, 2026 Friday, January 2, 2026

If your normal collection day is Thursday, January 1st please place your garbage and recyclables at your normal location by 6:00am on Friday, January 2nd and leave there until it is collected.

Mon-Thurs – 7:00am – 4:30pm
Friday – 7:00am – 11:00am
